Who We Are
Whisnant Construction is a locally owned and operated general contracting company based in Hickory, NC. We specialize in custom home building and commercial renovations, delivering high-quality projects with a focus on craftsmanship, transparency, and trust.
Our founder, Jeremy Whisnant, earned his Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering from North Carolina State University in 2016. After graduating, he spent 8 years gaining valuable experience with Vannoy Construction, where he managed a wide range of commercial construction projects across the region. In 2023, Jeremy launched Whisnant Construction to bring his expertise home — building lasting relationships with homeowners and businesses through personal service and strong Christian values.
